Default 2005 Dodge ram 1500 4x4

I have had to replace the abs sensor 4 times and each time the sensor is shredded. anyone have this problem?

the sensor on the front left wheel hub?

the sensor is in the back, center on the rear axel. The ABS light and brake light comes on after a few minutes of driving. I have replaced it 4 times. Each time that I have replaced the sensor is shredded. I have also checked the pan on the rear axle and found chucks of metal. No one seems to know whats going on.

I would strongly recommend getting the diff inspected, metal chunks means something (like retaining clips) are coming apart, and you may detonate the rearend.

for what I heard that the rear axle are not all that great on the 1500 models

The axles are a 9.25 "LC". The LC stands for light corporate

The axles hold up just fine, it's the LSD's that grenade more commonly.

I have a 04 ram 1500 4x4 and was wanting to put RAM Air on it. I can not fink a kit or Company that makes it. does any one have any info on this.
