It is the Ground Force kit #GRF-9970 which drops the front 2" and the rear 4". It includes 4 new shocks and was $599.99. It arrived by a brown truck a week after I ordered it and is now sitting in my garage, although the truck has not arrived yet but is supposed to be at the dealership today-I can't wait!!

I'm sure there is... however lowering a 4x4 truck is NOT a good idea. I don't understand Dodge's motive on making a STREET truck with 4x4
SRT-10 Ram NOT AVAILABLE IN 4x4
WHY MAKE A DAYTONA IN 4x4?!?!

GOOD ADVICE: DONT lower it. Leave it.
I'm hypnotized by your avatar Blackdak.

Oh yeah, the ram issue. DON'T DO IT! PLEASE! NO! I'VE SEEN IT HAPPEN WAY TO MANY TIMES WITH CHEVYS!

Okay, got that out. It just doesn't make sense where the only time you would need 4x4 is to get over that damn pebble in the road 'cause your body kit can't make it.

I mean i can totally understand what looks good to one doesn't automatically mean it will appeal to another, but come on...... My personal favorite is how if you ask a question on something that i guess is a TOUCHY subject to some, you get pointless opions that don't help answer your original question. I prefer a lowered truck, I am not denying that a truck with a 6, 8, etc.... inch lift and some sick off-road tires doesn't look means as hell but you don't see me knockin' your sh*t either..... so in closing thank you to everyone who has put in some constructive and helpfull feedback on this topic.

No need to insult a person because they want to lower a 4x4. Why buy a car with 4x4/AWD? maybe the turck is in the northern section of the country where 4wd is not only helpful, but mandatory. If I had a daytona 4x4, I'd take it to the track and use the 4wd to launch off the line without wheel spin.
Lifting a 2wd is no different. A lot of people do not need 4wd, but like the look. others can't afford it. I helped lift a friend's 2wd dakota last year because she wanted a big truck. (2wd also get better gas mileage too)

I just got my truck and here's a pic before the lowering kit is installed.

Anybody tell me why a picture is not popping up?

Granted, the guy's question about lowering a 4x4 is dumb. Yeah it is smarter to buy a 4x2 (save the money) and then lower it. I'd agree, but saying "beaners" only lower trucks is kinda funny. I see whites, blacks, Asians and every other race lower crap (which I personally think is stupid, but hey, whatever floats their boats). I think you also mentioned something about where you are from, you would be "shot for lowering a 4x4." I'm just curious, do people also burn their trash outside where you are from? Just curious Because if you think about it, a beaner with a new 4x4 1/2 ton truck, probably has more more money than some backwoods redneck, running around barefoot, eating spam inside his smoke filled double wide.

As for clear taillights, you said you would rather put your money into performance mods. So, do the lights improve your acceleration? 1/4 mile time? Towing capability? Does the billet gas cap give you more torque? The crap you've done to your truck is just as useless as the things you condemn.

Its just too funny how some people bitch because someone wants to do something, when in reality, they aren't making the payment on the truck. Then they say they'd rather put performance mods on their truck, and they put ricer lights on it. And the billet gas door is just gay . . . whether the dealer installed it or someone put it on.

You are probably going to reiterate "I put the lights on to distinguish my truck from other Rams." Well, isn't that the same thing this guy wants to do, only on a smaller scale? Yes it is. So, in reality, we could make fun of you for doing the same thing.
