Default Transmission Identification

First post. Been reading the interwebs up and down trying to figure out what transmission is in my 2006 2500 5.7l. I have not been able to accomplish that so I figured I would flat out ask.

I got underneath the truck and looked at the tag on the tranny pan. This is what I came up with.....

[Bar code]
TITTJ314520172 04.00.01
[Bar code] 434
P52119434AD RFE

The only thing I get out of that tag is that im guessing its part of the RFE transmission family. The applications for my year seem to be either 45 RFE or 545 RFE. Am I on the right track? Can anyone narrow this down for me? Thanks

I think Dodge started calling them 6spd in 2010?

Either way, it's false advert as you never shift from 2nd to 2nd-prime and then into 3rd. it's either 2nd or 2nd-prime which negates the idea of a true 6spd.

Are you sure? I actually think they used the 545rfe longer than 2010 up to 2011 actually.

Also, the 65rfe is the same exact trans, just has an updated software tune to allow the use of all 6 forward gears when using the ERS. It might have a diff torque converter but as far as the trans internals go..identical.

Default trans id

I have a 2014 ram 3500 4x4 diesel automatic. I'm trying to identify the transmission. The dipstick is on the passenger side of the engine if that helps. Any info would greatly be appreciated.
