Default 04 1500 SLT Hemi, Sway abr bushings Stock or Poly?

For my 1500 SLT 4X4 should I replace the sway bar bushings and end links with stock or Poly? Where there different Size bar's offered or was there only 1 size? Not sure if I need to measure them or not before I order.

Thanks

The end links and bushings come as a kit. No need to measure, just tell them what your driving.

Ok, I replaced teh link with a Moog kit and used Energy Suspension Bushings, I have to use the kit for a 2 wd which came with a 34 mm bushing compared to the 4 WD kit which used a 36 MM, The 36 MM seemed a bit loose and I tried my best to Measure the factory one and it appeared to be a 34 MM.

The Moog and the factory manual said to tighten the small top nut to 27 FT pounds, this seemed way to tight and seemed to compress the bushing to much, So I backed it off a bit, I think I may need to replace those bushings again as they dont seem to have quite returned to there shape.

How tight is to tight? Thanks

They should compress some. If you make them too tight it will split the bushing. I would follow the manufacturer recommendation.

I know this is an old thread but am hoping that the OP or someone can give me a tip or two?
Ordered a pair of Moog K7422 sway bar end links and some Energy Suspension 55160G sway bar bushings because the Moogs were blue and I wanted to stay all black bushings.
I noticed in this thread that the call-out size for 4wd is 36mm but I noticed Joe G. said he thinks his 04 is 34mm???

Should I be getting 34mm or 36mm sway bar bushings for 04 1500 4wd??
Also do the moog end links come pre-greased and if not what type should I put in my grease gun?

Thanks,
jfotsch

Joe.G;
Thanks for responding, I have ordered the 36mm Moog. Guess I will order the 34mm and figure out which is best for me when I take the sway bar off?
I think I have a tube of regular grease too. Have not had my grease gun out since I got this Ram in 05 though because there are no zirc fittings that I have seen on it.
Appreciate it!!!
