Rich fuel code still show after many replacements plz help
Hi need help going nuts.
Dodge ram 1500 slt quad cab 2003 4.7l. V8
We replaces both up and down streem o2 sensors. Replaced throttle position sensor.
Intake air control sensor and map sensor. Replaced fuel rail.
Oil change and treatments.
Have cleared codes and also disconnected battery to help with reset.
Vehicle gained some power but it lack acceleration power from a total stop and continual rich fuel code.
Feels like compaired to a stick if trying to spead up in too high of gear. Until i get around 60 then again trying to reach 80..
Spark plugs has also been replaced
Please help. Bought second hand and close to saying i give up...

We had some misfiring codes but they never came back after all sensors were replaced. So now only rich fuel keeps popping up especially when trying to excellerate.... P172 too rich in upstream o2 sensor bank 1.

does the vehicle use a maf sensor or speed density fuel metering?
if the vehicle uses speed density fuel metering(no maf), the map is the sensor that indicates load...a vacuum leak would be seen as a throttle request and enrichens the mixture. anything that skews the map will skew the mixture. this will effect both banks so check the ft on both banks with a scan tool. it may set the dtc on only 1 bank but when viewing live data may be rich on both banks.
secondly, check the fuel pressure. if it is high it will also run rich on both banks.

Will check into replacing that soon. Now a few more issues arised.
Rpm fluctuates during park and at stop. At park it ended up stalling.

Also new code came up P0128 now showed -faulty thermostate or engin collant sensor.
Odd to have to replace every sensor?!
And now the usual rich fuel code came up again as well as misfires..
