Default Left cruise control switch discontinued EVERYWHERE?

Anybody know where I can buy a new left cruise control switch (ON/OFF, SET) for my 03, it's part no 56045779AA and everywhere I checked it's listed as discontinued?
I really like my cruise and hate to think I can't get the part to fix it.
Junk yard would be my last resort but really want to get a new part.
Any guidance really appreciated.

You can get them on ebay easily. Also, the Chrysler Aspen had silve ones and they fit, I actually just bought a set last night.

I just searched online again for this switch and google hit this thread - I never saw it because I had email notifications turned off in the forum (dumb me) and don't check in often enough
Checked the links posted above (from 2016 I know) and did some ebay searches on the part number.
I can't believe nobody has that part and I don't know of any work arounds.
Anybody got any more information on that?
(yes I have email notification turned on now)

Might try the used market, places like car-part.com, and assorted others can search junkyard inventory for you.

Your switches are different than 02-03 has. OP, best bet will be junkyard or ebay.

Anyone have a work around for this? i have a 2003 Ram 1500 5.7 2wd AT 5.7. my cruise on/off/set switch has three wires with a plug that plugs into the steering wheel. the new switches on line only have a female plug that accepts a two wire plug. can they be made to work?

Then it's not the correct switch.

I bought one of the two wire switches but I need to know the various control voltages for the cruise control so I can try to figure out if I can make it work. I saw that posted somewhere but can't find it again, does anybody know what these voltages should be or where I can find them?
