yes I got the transgo shift kit, and I’m about to do a full master rebuild including torque converter. Luckily my truck already has the 5-45rfe software so I don’t have to worry about that. I’ll have to check out the line pressure booster. After I get all my other stuff put on I’ll have to start getting the cams and intake together. I might even just rebuild the engine and drop in forged pistons and see how much boost I can put on those. Do you have yours dyno tuned?

just bought the line pressure booster as well.

As far I know and have learned and what I'm going to testing in the next couple months is that the 5.7 exhaust headers will bolt into a 4.7 since they share the same bolt pattern. So buy a single turbo kit for a 5.7 bolt it in and get a tune. Obviously swapping bigger injectors in and keeping it under 10lbs until you at least until you regap your piston rings. ( While regapping you might as well swap out for forged internals)

Rather old thread, don'tchathink? In the neighborhood of 8 years..... If he actually did anything with this, I would have expected him to mention that......

Please pay attention to DATES on posts. Bringing up long-dead threads helps no one.

Yeah I seen the date on the post. I do know how to read. But when you google Dodge 4.7 turbo this is one of the first things that pop up and I have read several years old post so if anyone reads old post like I do I figured it might help. I'm just trying to help

Boosting your 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7L V8 on a budget of $1000 is doable if you're okay with DIY fabrication, used parts, and modest power gains.
I can break down what’s involved and how you can pull this off, especially with a rear-mount or flipped-manifold setup.
Also have used parts of the 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7L V8.
