Short story... did this mod during 2018 and a bet I was in for getting a 5 tank average of 23.0 mpg or better, back then however I installed the whole seal and taped up the bed. Fast forward to today and with fuel prices climbing, I dipped the toe back into the aero stuff an found that if that seal is installed down to the body line then no bumper mod is needed and aerodynamics of the truck are improved. This will benefit all 3rd gen trucks regardless of ride height.
Snapped this pic when I did it, this is before I trimmed the bottom of the seal...
diagram of the full seal install on the 4th gen trucks... There is a lip to put a seal on the bottom of the bed behind the cab... horizontal seal, resist the temptation to install it on any part of the span across the bed, adds drag... UNLESS you want more aero stability from the back end, then you can add a 6~8" piece on each side of the bed at the top (or bottom, does not matter). there is a lip up at the top of the bed for that same seal (iirc) to fit on. I dont recall 100% which seal I used up there, pretty sure it was the trimmed portion of the seal shown below. (I had another seal I had in hand to play with)

and here is a link to the library if you want to see what else was experimented with... ask before doing any of them. Currently just the wheel well vents, 2nd air dam and the vertical bed seals are used.
So all you used was the side bed seals and trimmed them at the body indent or did you tuck them back? Did you have to remove the bed for this? I'm seeing your chart and it seems the bed seals in combination to something called RP bump (couldn't find it in your other forum post, I'm just blind probably).

The 2014ish bed seals off the 1500 trucks would go all the way to the bottom of the bed, in that pic, I zip tied the bottom out of the way for testing purposes and then ultimately cut them down to the preferred size.
No the bed did not have to be removed, its a 30~60 sec install on each side. You can install them from the side of the truck.
RP = Rail Pressure, meaningless to gas trucks. At the suggestion of a 6.7 cummins tuner, I'd reduced RP down closer to what he had on his motor, mine being a 5.9 it did not respond the same as his so I raised it back up.
