Hmm... yeah negative fuel trim isn't indicative of unmetered air input (Vac leak). STFT should settle out, but it isn't. The problem with your tool is it shows snapshots, and proper analysis is done watching changes over time (graphs of snapshots, rather than a single value). I like the ELM327 and Torque phone app. Looking at different RPM and load, and how STFT and LTFT change, can help you figure out what is going on.
When I really learned this stuff a while back, I found a great pair of videos that really walk you through how the inputs (sensors) are reacted to by the computer, and the controls used by the computer. I definitely don't do enough of this to keep it all in memory, I usually have to go relearn/remind myself how it works. These videos are great for showing you how to capture the data and think through what is going on.

I'm wondering if you caused problems by switching out those fuel injectors... I'd probably put the originals back in and see what happens. Or could be something was wrong before you even got to pulling the heads.
So, my thought was to place the original injectors back in. HeyYou those are snap shots but yes my tool does capture while the engine is running, I just took pictures of the final results. I am not sure If I can upload the actual video of what is going on. I will watch the video you sent bd I will also put back the original injectors....I will report back tonight.
hey everyone, I am pleased to say that the truck is fixed... It turned out to be the new fuel injectors. However watching those videos that HeyYou sent helped out tremendously. I recommend watching them regardless. So I learned that not everything you see on Youtube is not always something that you can perform on your own vehicle. I thank this forum for all the assistance that I received I will submit more pics of the new readings.
Yeah I figured when you said there were 12 holes in those new injectors that it wasn't going to go well. Glad you've got it worked out! Not everyone keeps working it, its good to see others succeed on this stuff.
Are you continuing to have a hot/idle oil pressure drop, or was that an anomaly?
