My cruise just stopped working. i did a search and there's not too much info on the 08. I know there's not a listed fuse. The trucks old and has 192xxx miles. Without taking it for diagnosis and repairs I changed the two easiest things being the brake switch and on/ off cruise control switch. Anyone have the same situation and a fix? I like having cruise for the longer drives to work but I can live without it if it's too costly to fix

 

Did you check the steering wheel cruise control buttons as well?

 

I can say there is voltage at both switches. I replaced the on off switch thinking that might have been the problem. I know when you turn it on it doesn't show its on and it's not working

 

Does the horn blow when you use it? Your problem could be in the clock spring.
