How much do you tow with your ram?
My parent's tow our 25ft 7000lbs camper and we wanted the 4.10 gears but ended up gettin' the lesser ones. Just wondering what you all tow 'cause I saw a few 2500s towing stuff that was near 9000lbs and I'm pretty sure that's the limit for 2500s yet we like to have a good 500lbs to 1000lbs cushion. Just curious.

Well I'm pretty sure 9000 is the limit. But it's cool 'cause we have near 700lbs on the hitch, 150lbs. in two dogs and near 600lbs in people. And yet we loaded near 700lbs of wood in the back (we also got a Radco topper and bed rug bed rug) and the distance between the top of the tire and fender only dropped near an inch.

Let me suggest www.dodge.com/towing and www.trailerlife.com bottom left of page. There is alot to consider when your towing anything.

I have an '02 3/4 ton 4x4 quad cab short bed diesel. The paper in the window said my truck would tow 13,100lbs. But now keep this in mind I have a Dana 80 axle in the rearend. The biggest thing I have towed is my 2003 Salem pull camper. It is 34 feet long and it weighs 11,200 lbs dry weight. Now granted I know that it is back there but I have never had a bit of trouble towing it.
