The cams from KRC are comp cams but with krc's custom grinds.
The KRC 210 and 218 cams are drop ins. You won't need any programming. (These are similar to comps 3 cams for the hemi)
The KRC 220 cam (larger than the comp 273) will require the use of an Apexi SAFC2 or a SMT6, something you can adjust fuel injector pulse at certain vaccum levels and timing or you can go full standalone as comp did with their 273. My air fuel ratio sat between 12.0 and 12.5 at WOT from 4500rpms to 6250rpms with the 220 cam and stock injectors with a little tuning. On KRC's dyno the 220 cam in my truck showed a 54rwhp gain, and that was a 2nd gear pull, with my 22's on, the exhaust cutout closed, a new high stall tc and 4:56 gears (all of this will cause lower dyno #'s) Now I've removed the KRC 220 cam from my truck and now I'm going with the KRC Turbo Cam - 228/224-554/547 115+4 - This is better since it's got the turbo now.
The SMT6 can adjust timing and will let you write your own fuel maps so with it you can fix any timing or fuel problem the cam may present for a lot less than the cost of a standalone FAST. I'm using the SMT6 on a 2 Bar MAP Sensor to tune my turbo hemi ram. I'm also using 55lb injectors and an Aeromotive billet EFMU for fuel. Still debating if we're going to turn it to a return style fuel system. That'll depend on how it does when the motor comes back from getting the forged bottom end. SHould be pretty cool.

That dyno was a 2nd gear pull so your numbers might be higher or about the same but with the 218. One thing though, not all trucks perform the same given the same mods so you will not know for sure until you put the cam in.
