Breaking Tires Free
I have an 05 qc 5.7 with 20s
I can't do it either from a stand still by just flooring it. Using the brakes sure but..without not unless im on an incline.
I have the 275 60 20 good years...3.92 or whatever gears and the anti spin option....
no luck

i also have to power-break in order to light up the rear tires, i have 17in rims with 3.55 gears. Its an 04 Ram Hemi Reg cab Short bed, i dont know why it doesnt because i used to have an 03 silverado with the 5.3 and it would easly peel out although it had an open diff in the rear where as my ram has the anti-spin, thats the only reason i can think of.

yes, they easily break loose in the rain---actually just got my truck back from the body shop after a little run in with a telephone pole. But how would it possibly be easier to break traction with the anti-spin? This requires both rear tires to spin where as the open diff just one tire will spin, seems as though it would be easier for one tire to spin than for both.

2004 5.7 hemi reg cab I have a hard time not spining on takeoff but on wet roads Even light gas at take off tire spin and I have a hard time getting the truck moving and tires are not worn out just have to much power and no weight back there . Next set of tires need more bite then these .
Well i cant explain it then cause thats the truck that i have also the 2004 Ram Hemi 2wd Reg cab short bed 3.55 17in rims, barely a chirp when flooring on dry pavement. Mods i have are K/N CIA, flowmaster 40 series exhaust, and AIRAID throttle body spacer. Do you think i should take it to my dealer to see if anything is wrong, i mean hell the engine sounds strong.
