I have an 05 qc 5.7 with 20s

I can't do it either from a stand still by just flooring it. Using the brakes sure but..without not unless im on an incline.

I have the 275 60 20 good years...3.92 or whatever gears and the anti spin option....

no luck

I could break them w/o power breaking with stock 20's and 275s but got 22's and 305s and dude do they hook up. Not that I'd really want to burn them up the tires are about 350 each.

i also have to power-break in order to light up the rear tires, i have 17in rims with 3.55 gears. Its an 04 Ram Hemi Reg cab Short bed, i dont know why it doesnt because i used to have an 03 silverado with the 5.3 and it would easly peel out although it had an open diff in the rear where as my ram has the anti-spin, thats the only reason i can think of.

The anti-spin is nothing more than an LSD so that would make spinning them a hell of a lot easier. The one I drive has the LSD and burning the tires is a lot of fun but I dont do it much. It's more fun to pull on people on top end at 60 mph and watch them stare. The only problem with the LSD is that both tires chirp when going over bumps that span the length of the road but this only occurs under acceleration. One question for Dabbelt1, will they break loose in the rain?

yes, they easily break loose in the rain---actually just got my truck back from the body shop after a little run in with a telephone pole. But how would it possibly be easier to break traction with the anti-spin? This requires both rear tires to spin where as the open diff just one tire will spin, seems as though it would be easier for one tire to spin than for both.

it's easier for the truck to push when the power is evenly distributed. An open rear end puts more power to the wheel with less grip so it's uneven. As part of the 4x4 package, you may have some kind of locker in the ECU similar to torque management so that the tires dont spin. I honestly dont know what to say to help you man, wish I could. If you find out what is causing that, please let me know.

Well i cant explain it then cause thats the truck that i have also the 2004 Ram Hemi 2wd Reg cab short bed 3.55 17in rims, barely a chirp when flooring on dry pavement. Mods i have are K/N CIA, flowmaster 40 series exhaust, and AIRAID throttle body spacer. Do you think i should take it to my dealer to see if anything is wrong, i mean hell the engine sounds strong.
