Ok, got into the truck today and the computer was reading 100 degrees. Turned AC on high and rolled windows down for a minute, rolled windows back up and had to turn the AC down after 5 minutes because I was to cold. BTW, I have no problems with my AC

 

i dont have a mega cab or anything but the damn vents bug me i cant get the ac to hit my face.

 

Turn the temperature up if it's too cold...

Simple solution... it's what my dad does in his Ram.

 

More than likely he hasaproblem with his ac. I see this all the time, poor service combined with hightened sensativity blows small problems out of perspective. Myguy was similar, an expectation some times requires an extra effort from the Dealer. 45,000 dollars is alot of money he could haver spent with another truck manufacturer, He shouldn't be blown off by his Dealer! The DCX District Manager should get involved. I am glad your AC works fine,

 

no problems with mine. my wife usually has a blanket when we go on long trips.

 

dont feel like the lone ranger on the a/c issue< mine is pathetic, 50 mile one way commute to work and all my a/c does is keep me from sweating (barely though) followed all the recomendations, vent all the hot air from the vehicle with windows down while running a/c, after venting all the hot air, close windows and put a/c on recirculate. doesn work!!!! Took it to the dealership and told them the problem and said it was blowing 45 degree air, i asked them to recheck while i was watching (to verify) and then couldnt get close to 45 degrees while i was watching. Oh well i dont think they were liars just checked it 8:00am on a cool morning in 97degree afternoon weather could only get 56 degrees out of them then and the truck never cooled off, but they said they could find nothing wrong, anyway going to take it too two more dealerships and ask them to take temp readings in the cab and not with a probe rammed down the vent. and as of right now i am heavily researching "LEMON LAW" in my state and see where i can go from there

 

I have to agree with the other MegaCab owners on this one the AC needs a fix bad. I have a 50,000 dollar investment here and don't want to throw it away. Maybe everyone doesn't think it is a problem but if you spend the amount of cash we have for a vehicle you expect the performance of even "comfort" features to work. Keep on them My dealer so far has blown me of also and this really bothers me since I was talking to one of the mechanics and he said they get this complaint all the time. Just my 2 cents worth.

I also think the AC just plain SUX in my Megacab, it's barely cool as it is and summer is still coming... I may talk to the dealer...

 

I agree that the air isn't sufficient for the interior space. Yesterday was 94 and my Megacab just barely cooled off. But I think I've been spoiled as my 89 Mustang doesn't have air...

 

I believe you paid way to much for your megacabif you only have the hemi.
