Sorry about your luck with your truck, but parts are subject to mechanical failure. Its all part of owning a vehicle. A power steering pump going out is not unheard of. Also the rear diff failing could be due to a number of things. Did you have the diff serviced at 15,000 mile intervals like the service record specifies?
Also dont sweat the rear end, it should be covered under your 7-70,000 power train.

dude all companies have their very own issues. If you go get a ford your gonna have issues with it too. Then you can trade it go to a gmc/chevy and they will have their fair share of issues also, then toyota same thing. For every one person who has problems with their truck another 50 people are having no problems. same goes for all brands. Personally why i'm not a very brand loyal person. I think dodge has the best looks so i buy them. Plus the CTD is the best diesel out there

I don't see the point in trying to persuede people to drive Dodges. I mean I won't make a cent off telling people to drive Dodge so I could care less what everyone drives.

yea, i love that truck when it works good. Just when things break its just like ahg i shulda bought something else, but hell your right every brand has there fallbacks. Just hope every breaks drivetrainwise before 70,000 miles so I wont have to worry about it afterwards haha. 2 things down....many more to go haha.

Max, it could be worse... Could own a GM and have to replace alternators ever 15,000 and idler pulleys ever 25,000.... Not bad when you're under warranty, but sucks when you AREN'T... Went thru 7 Alternators on myTahoe in 8 years of ownership.... Paid for 5 of them.... Not to mention the 3 distributor caps, 4 batteries, 3 idlers, 4 belts, a power steering pump, heater core, countless sensors and dash bulbs, 2 transfer case solenoids, and the exhaust rusted apart at 60,000.... (Fell off)
