Default Ford Supercharger HD

Today at the light i pulled up to a Ford Harley-Davidoson, probably about a 2002-2004 model...we hit it and i smoked him like a ham...i could hear his little supercharger whine...im guessing thats what it was, but after about 10 seconds he just kinda gave up...i had him the whole way by about 1/2 truck length and it was getting further as we kept going until he decided to start slowing down cuzz he was getting beat...so what kinda stats do those trucks have?

I'm not sure what a Ford Harley Davidson is, but I'd like to know.

So is it performance-enhanced in any way, or just an appearance package? Whatever the case, congrats tamuccmike, you make me proud. Unfortunately, a '69 Corvette with a 427 put some hurt on my '04 4.7L. 235 HP (+ cold air intake gain) vs. 400 HP+ just isn't going to cut it, especially when he is lighter and not fighting a lot of wind at 90 MPH.

I call BS on you winning against a second generation HD F-150. You would beat a 3rd generation one but not a second generation if he knew you two were racing. They are the exact same thing as a Ford Lightning just in quad cab form.

well you can call bs all you want...you could even call my mom for all i care...but the simple truth is that this particular truck got roasted by my hemi...maybe it was a 2000 or 2001, i do not know the specific year, as stated in my original post...it was a black and silverish-grey two-toned truck with the HD badge up front and the HD rims...i heard the S/C whine the whole time we were going, i definately beat him and he definately knew we were going...& if this guys truck is the "exact same" as a lightning i feel sorry for the owners of these trucks...but im sure this truck wasn't the "exact same"

you see, the problem with street racing is traction. I have seen economy cars beat sports cars because of traction problems. So lets say this was a real race, and lets say you got the hole shot, and he spun his tires endlessly. SURE, its going to look like you won, and you probably did. But I cant tell you how many times I have had these teenage fart-can equipped kids pull up next to me, floor it from the light, and hoot and hollar about how they beat a hemi. Sure, to their buddies, they whooped me real good. BUT, at the next light, when I "knew" we were racing and they didnt get the jump on me, its a whole different story.

Did you confirm with this individual that you were going to race? Or did you see green, punch it, and then say "I beat that pos ford!" ???

Racing should always be done at the track, that way, there is proof of who won. :-)

10-4 to that. What were you driving anyways?? a 1500 with reg cab 4x2 and a hemi or a 2500 long bed quad cab with a hemi?? big difference. and what kinda harley F-250 or 350 was he driving?? And that whine coulda been a diesel turbo. The HD models of those things do not have gas engines that are supercharged for all i know.
