You probably kicked the computer to learn another driving habit by doing that. Can you describe your truck? QC, RC, 4x4, etc.

Your break in manual should say the following:

"A long break in period is not required for the engine in your new vehicle. Drive moderately for the firs 300miles. After the intitial 60 miles, speeds up to 50 or 55mph are desirable. While cruising, brief full-throttle acceleration, within the limits of local traffic laws, contribute to a good break-in. "

I've floored my truck 10 times so far and I have about 800 miles. I think this helps the valves seat. Keep pushing your truck hard. Might help.

Not sure if this makes anybody relax, but my co-worker bought one of the first 03 QC Hemis out. He currently has over 30K miles without any problems. I was so impressed with the power I bought my 4X4 QC in June. I only have 7K on the motor, but am very impressed with the towing ability and surprised on the gas mileage I achieve. My only upgrades so far is a Volant Cool intake. I am very interested in installing a remote turbo from ststurbo.com. Does anybody have any thought regarding the remote turbo craze?

I have read a bit on it... I'm not sure how the PCM in the new rams will react to positive manifold preasure (boost). I would recommend starting a new thread about it if you are seriously interested.
