Default 180 Thermo

Okay, SO I looked it DYI and searched for the 180 Degree thermo but I cant find anything about it, I was wondering if someone could give me the link? Im looking for the purpose of doing it and how to install it

Get the Stant 14168. Then just grind it all the way around till you get to the lip that is stamped on it. Works great, have one in my truck and it is much less expensive than buying the overpriced Jet thermostat.

Oh, and I think I had to drill a relief hole in it too. Don't remember for sure but I think the Stant has no relief so you will have to drill it in there.

Cool Im gonna go pick one up tomorrow.. Its ok to run the 180 before doing the efan?

I just saw that you are from Canada. You may want to wait till spring to do that 'stat upgrade, lot of people say they can't get much heat at of their trucks in northern climates in winter with one...

I know my Mustang heater sucks with a 180 stat. Leave the 195 in it.

I haven't really noticed a big difference in the heat between the stock 203 stat and the new 180 stat.
