I recently added the 1.5" DayStar leveling kit to my 09 Ram 2wd. I am nothing but happy with the results. Kit runs about $40 and I paid $100 to have it installed and another $60 to have the wheels realigned.
i installed the heavymetal 3inch front level kit, i simply love what it does for these trucks, however i've run into a problem were i can't get the wheels aligned now. i have 3 of the wheels aligned but the driver front is out 2.9 degrees of castor so the steering wheel is crooked and the truck is pulling to the right. has anyone else run into this problem i've contacted many different manufacturers of thes elevlign kits and they all said that they had no problem putting 3 inch kits on these rams and no toruble re-alinging after. so i'm wondering if it was a problem with the truck itself.
Throwing a 3" level on mine here. I'll let you know as soon as I can. Dracowing14 I have not heard anything but I would get it checked somewhere else. New kit?
I used the Bilstein 5100's @ 2.4 and I am very pleased with the look and performance. During my first service however, the dealer pointed out a leak in the right CV boot related, he said, to the leveling kit. The dealer was kind enough to replace and repair it. Whether it is actually true or now I'm not sure, but just be advised. Nevertheless, I love it.
Wow, anyone else? Been a while now!! I am officially ready but would like to see if anyone else has a 2012+ and has thrown a 3" leveling kit on. Any problems? The CV boot leak problem? Sounds B.S to me.
Looking to squeeze some 37" nittos under my 2011 Power Wagon. Anyone know how much of lift I'll need to put on it to fit em? I'm guessing around a 6" lift would do but not positive.
