I'm driving a 2010 2500 and getting 14.5-15.0 right now with 2,200 miles on it---seems to be getting better and i'll be switching to synthetic at the first oil change.

2010 Ram 1500 4x4
Extended Cab, Hemi, 3.55 gears
3200 miles
Honda ST1300 in the bed (760 lbs) + all the other extras that go to Daytona bike week including wife (115 lbs shhhhh!)
Type of driving: Rt.95 all the way down (BORING!), MPH Range: Mostly 60-73 depending on speed limit, we behaved.
Overall avg mpg for entire trip with no reset of computer: 16.1 mpg.
IMO very happy with that number.

I just did a nice long trip for the first time really testing mileage.

Driving speed was 55-59 on hwy and 62 on freeway. Anything above that and I can't keep it in 4 cylinder very well. I had 19.5 on the computer and 19.25 by hand. So pretty good. I was babying the heck out of it 100% of the time trying to squeeze every last drop.

No mods since last post. Basically a stock crew cab hemi.

I think 20++ with MY truck is unrealistic. Maybe on a dead calm day with flat roads running under 60mph. According to the computer I get the best mileage at about 40-45 mpg (22 on the computer).

Intersting note, since the first oil change I have run Mobile 1 factory recommended weight and changed the oil at 6000 miles. After 12000 mile oil change my fuel mileage went up by almost 3 miles per gallon. Prior to 12000 mile change from day 1, I averaged 13.4 mpg by the computer, after 12000 mile change I have averaged 16.2, haven't reset the computer since my 12000 mile oil change and haven't changed my driving habits.

So far I am up to page 7 and there isn't a single diesel, is there another diesel section?. I only have 200 miles on my diesel and I haven't fueled up yet

==========================

I read all 17 pages and not a single diesel

========================

Whoops I am new here and just found the diesel section, I'll check the MPGs over there
