It helps keep your intake clean on your engine..The PCV will take the excess blow-by from the engine and dumps them back into the intake of your engine (which we all know is not where you want your oil). So this catch can is installed inline...

What was the cost of the part? Looks like install is relatively easy and straight forward?

I'd get one...no reason for oil on the intake side of your engine....it should not be there.

I got mine from Moe's Performance for about 15$ cheaper (spend the extra and order straight from BT) I waited forever to receive mine.

It was a little over $100, well worth it if you have a 4th gen w/ the HEMI the install took 20 mins.

Got mine from there as well and yeah took forever to get it in also.
Glad I installed it. Just dump it everytime I change the oil and its at lease 1/2 full of oil each time. Takes only like 20-30 mins to install.

What all has to come off to put this on, I am waiting on mine, kinda think I got scammed, was a group order to save a buck. I have to wait for BT to said it to them then they send to me, I could have gotten same thing and order the frosted or clear bottom to know when to empty.I might see if I can order the bottom from BT separate.

All you have to do is mount the bracket and can...two mins.

Then pull the hose off your PCV (underneath your engine cover) and pull the hose off your TB... I am not home and wont be for a few days ill try and snap a pic or two of the connection points.
