Hi
I cannot read my dipstick. I have a 2009 Dodge Ram Hemi and it has a ridiculously long dipstick. I wipe it off and run it back down but pulling it out it gathers oil along the way so I cannot get a good reading. Why don't they make these dipsticks shorter and in white so we can read them better.
Any suggestions? Thank you

Also, the oil filter is extremely hard for me to reach. Does anyone make a remote oil filter set up for a Hemi Ram? Or can you recommend something.
Thank you

Amsoil makes a remote mounted bypass filter system, but I don't seem to have any trouble with the location of the filter.

Where did you get your AFE intake. My 2010 2500 is due in anyday now and that will be my first mod. I'd like to do an exhaust mod too, but I'm hearing conflicting stories about converting to true dual exhaust. Any insights would be appreciated. I'm being told that the factory muffler/exhaust is so "finely tuned" that converting to true duals won't make much difference, and could even rob some performance? Bizarre...can't imagine that. I so want two exhaust pipes coming out the back!

Would these Dodge Ram Engine Performance Chips be easy to install? I want to be my own mechanic but I am not so well versed in performance chips. Thanks!

The best way i find is to pull the dip stick out at the same angle of the tube. I use a step ladder in the front of the truck (i know i am short!) so i can pull it out easier.

if it is to hard to reach get a longer handle for your oil filter wrench. It is actually a very easy filter to get at, just high up. I use a K&N filter so its very easy for me to use my 1" wrench to take off the filter.
