Oat fixed!!!
Just got back from the Dealership and my OAT is now reading correctly! Or technically 1 degree lower than the tempature on weather.com.

Here is the details on the Service Report:

TIPM Module Replaced
ZERO ZERO Performed.

Hope this helps others that are seeing the same problem.

Well, that is great news. I will contact a dealer and see if they have a clue about this service. Did you have to wait long for the module or was it a stock item? Does the reading seem to be correct instantly or does it still count up or down from what the last reading was prior to shutdown?

The part is not a standard stock item with my dealership and it took almost a week to get it in. As far as the way the reading goes I will watch it next time and let you know what the result is.

I talked to my dealer yesterday. The service writer told me that Dodge was working on a fix. I told him that it appears to be the TIPM and he agreed that he had seen that mentioned by Dodge. He told me that Dodge is going to send out several units to the dealers in the next few days and that he would call me. He said that they had been told not to even mess with the gauge or sensor.

ropatz,
Is your OAT still working? I am ready to contact my dealer and find out if they have the modules yet.

My dealer said that Chrysler has not released any of the TIP modules yet. They want to make sure that is the correct fix. They know its not the gauge or sensor and have stopped replacing those.

Have any other folks got theirs fixed yet?

Mine is off too. It takes a while for it to warm up to the right temp.

My dealer said to call back in a couple of weeks, waiting on Dodge to decide what the fix should be

Calling Ropatz,
Hey Ryan, my dealer is telling me that they do not know when Chrysler is going to release the TIP modules. He did tell me that he could order it is you could give me the part number off your warranty receipt. That way, he would be able to get the latest version of the module. If you could do that for me, I would appreciate it.
