20" Chrome Clad wheels
#11
I don't know. I had a shop do it on my '07 after someone hit my truck in a parking lot. I just remember it costing about $170 with cap and labor, but that was at a very expensive body shop. I'm assuming if you got the glue you could do it yourself.

MOPAR (click here) has five pricey 20" wheel versions in cast/forged - chrome/polished. Stock "plasticlad" chrome wheels are embarrassing!

I was upset too when I found out they were hubcaps!! Interestingly enough I didn't notice for 2 weeks after I bought it, and no one at work has even noticed either. Everyone thinks they are rims.
I'll keep mine till the tires wear down and get some custom 22 inch wheels to spruce up the look on my Sport Quad Cab. The ones from Dodge are expensive.

Btw, I just ordered me some Cooper Zeon LTZs in 305/50/20. They're coming in from Dallas and should be here Monday or Tuesday.

You could just get a small 1 gallon bucket from Home Depot, you can fill that up in your sink and put a squirt of dish soap in there, wipe the wheels down with a sponge and wipe 'em off with a towel. Now you're good to go!

i started a thread about this issue here:

honestly, you guys are making to big a deal over this. at first i nearly shat too.
the more you look around, the more you notice that almost every brand new vehicle with the ultra shiny smooth chrome are clad.
seems to be the new trend.....
on the 3rd page of the thread i've posted there is a link to a website that goes into more detail.

DO NOT USE dishsoap on your wheels. It's meant to cut through grease and other things and in the same fashion it will cut through any wax/polish you have on your truck, can damage the clearcoat and can also damage the coating on your basically plastic covered wheels. It might not happen after 1 or 2 uses, but it will happen over time. Just use some basic car wash product or a chrome cleaning product.
