Default 20" Chrome Clad wheels

So today i get outta my truck and looked at the rims to see when i should clean them. I ran my finger across a certain part of the rim and noticed something funny. I got in for a closer look and found out that i have 20" Chrome Crap wheels. Damn man another cheapo move. Thanks Cork Soakers of chrysler! Anyway manual say's to clean the plastic wheels with Mopar wheel cleaner (05066247AB). Anyone know where you find these mopar products rather getting it from the dealer?

I used a brush with the soap left in my bucket when I finished washing the car. Just scrub and dont wast money on wheel cleaner. I know that they do sell chrome clad wheel cleaner but again soap, water and a brush do just fine.

Oh yeah that kinda made me mad also that they are freaking PLASTIC!!!

MOPAR (click here) has five pricey 20" wheel versions in cast/forged - chrome/polished. Stock "plasticlad" chrome wheels are embarrassing!

Unfortunantly i live in an apartment so i dont have access to a hose where i can squat down and clean the wheels properly. I guess i need a Plastic Wheel cleaner now(HAHA) so i dont dull out my plastic covered rims. Jesus i wonder if they gave us cheap steel rims underneth all the PLASTIC. Manual says dont use a bristle brush i thought you should.

Your stock wheels are bare cast aluminum with glued on chrome plastic cladding.

Well, there is one upside to this:

If you scratch your wheel by hitting a curb, etc. you can replace just the cover which is cheaper than replacing the whole wheel.

Cool. Could i just replace the caps myself or will the dealer have to use special crazy glue for our plastic hubcaps?

I haven't seen any of these wheels on trucks at the dealer. Can these only be ordered or what?
