Default Took truck in for some warranty work. They also did some Rapid Response Transmittal??

I took in the truck for the following:

1. Chrome grill surround, wasn't flush with the headlights and front end. (Tightened and fixed problem.)

2. Hood was making a lot of noise, I would notice the noise when going over bumps or when the truck would shift on turns. (They readjusted the hood and realigned it a bit. Fixed the problem. Noise free.)

3. Plastic trim over tailgate was extremely loose over the middle section. (Fixed by reinstalling it.)

4. Headlights would get humid/moisture in them when wet. (Could not replicate problem.)

5. Leather seat was warping a bit. (Seemed normal to them.)

Anyways, they also gave me an invoice to Chrysler for performing 2 Rapid Response Transmittals (RRT)

RRT 09-020
RRT 09-023

I didn't really pay attention to the RRT page and they didn't explain what they where. Anyone have any idea of what they covered?

I got a call from Spring Dodge for a Rapid Response. I didn't pay a lot of attention to what was said because I couldn't go in anytime soon. But I do recall something about a line of some sort needing to be re-routed over the differential and can't remember the other RRT. As soon as I get off the Harris County Grand Jury this week I'll take the animal in.

I think you should look at the post with the subject of seat wear.

One of the things they did to mine was to replace one of the wiring harnesses and that fixed the temp reading on the dash. I forget the second thing they did.

I have also noticed moisture in both my head lights, would be interested to know if this is normal or should be checked out.

The other was something to do with reflashing the park assist module. Apparently if you live in an error that gets cold enough, the freezing temps apparently effected the sensors enough to give some false positives or something.

Seeings how i live in Louisiana that wasn't really a problem for me, but i took it in anyway. It was a 15-20 min in and out, so i can't imagine it was much.

That has happened to me here in PA. I thought it was normal operation. I am going to have to take it back in to get that system flashed.

I noticed when I was waxing my truck for the first time the plastic piece right above the chrome bumper feels loose. Also, while waxing I felt spots that were as thin as tin foil. One of the rear taillights felt like it had a plastic film over it. I already have a pretty long list for them when I go in.

Moisture should never get inside the lights. That will result in the bulbs failing and corrosion.

If they are leaking you can duplicate by getting them them wet, like you are washing, while the lights are facing direct sunlight. That will cause condensation on the lens if it is leaking.
