I bought my Ram Laramie 4x4 with EVERYTHING including overhead dvd player about 2 weeks ago for $38K. The sticker was 52k making my discount almost 14K. Again, my truck has everything, nav, dvd, 4x4, leather, etc, except the Rambox. Check out Dodgeland of Columbia here in Columbia, South Carolina.

guys far be it from me to recommend a car dealer, however as i said in an earlier post i bought a 40,600 sticker price 4x4 truck for 28,200 (i can post paperwork to prove it). I bought this truck only 2 weeks ago and the dealer had lots of trucks, ram boxes, nav systems you name it. My salesman was Art and the dealer was ed payne motors in weslaco texas.
Its a long trip as we are at the very southern tip of texas but before i would let a dealer screw me for 31,000 i would give Art a call and at least check inventory. Hell i really didnt even have to fight that hard to get that price.
Just an idea

Call it 2000 miles. Say the truck does 20 mpg. That makes it 100gal even. Even at $3/gal, that's only $300 in gas, and you're going there anyway. Would you have to pay tax? I know they would make me pay sales tax on import to GA, so I would think I wouldn't have to pay it in TX. I have no experience on that, but I would say if you want a truck at close to market-bottom, you HAVE to move fast, they will only go up from here.

That seems like a great deal but FYI, that truck has 3.55's and i'm not sure if it matters but you might want the 3.92's. Depends on your needs though. Have them take another $500 off for your drive back home.
All in all though it sounds like a deal!

Make the deal over the phone, then get it in writing through email so when you get there they won't change the price on you.
