Sounds like the system has some bugs that need to be worked out.
Loose ground ?

Yes, I bought a extra fob and dealer cost was around $100 so, I wouldn't doubt list is $130-140. The battery is a 2032 or 2025 silver standard remote battery, not much at all.

Default Me Too.

Less than two weeks old, and having the same problem with unlocking.

Usually just mash the unlock button and hold it and eventually the truck unlocks.

Can't verify it with any certainty, but seems to happen most often when approaching the truck from the left rear.

No auto start/alarm in this one, just plain Jane RKE and Sirius radio without bluetooth, steering wheel controls, etc.

Going to the dealer to have some goodies installed next week, will ask them if they've ever heard of this one.

Default Email to dodge

I have send an email to Dodge, and I will call them about this issue. We all need to get on Dodge to fix this problem...

Here is my email...

Hello, I am having a problem with my door not unlocking properly. My dealer does not know what is wrong and I know that others are having the same problem. Sometimes when I press the key fob unlock button several times the door will still not unlock. This happens at least once a day for me. Also, when I use one of the two key fobs, without even touching the fob buttons, the doors unlock over and over again, sometimes even opening the windows. I cannot leave my truck anywhere because I do not know if it will unlock itself while I am not around. Then there is a possiblity of it being stolen. PLEASE PLEASE help US. We need a fix for this problem. Also, see the link to a forum, where others are having the same problem. Thank you.

Good idea, but I have lost all confidence in Chrysler Customer Service.

The story of the truck I ordered but never got has been beat to death elsewhere but the point here is that They Don't Do Anything.

Default Lets call

Well, the email didn't get sent for some reason unknow. So I called them and they took note of it and called my dealer. Maybe if they get enough complaints about this problem they will acctually do something about it.

I beg everyone to call them. It only takes a few min.

No remote start here. Today I had to push the button 15 times before the other 3 doors unlocked. Yesterday, it took 4 times for the driver door to unlock. My old '07 was like that on occasion, so is mom's '06 sonata, dads '04 venture, and his new '08 uplander. I thought it was radio interference causing it.

I don't think your problem is with the fob. I have had the same problem, keyless locks you out, won't unlock or remote start. Sets off alarm if you use the key.

Dealer checked, the problem is in a module, they replaced module WI8035031 and so far problem is solved. Diagnostics showed keyless entry received signal but module was intermitent in sending signal to open locks or start the vehicle.

I know I was not the first person with this problem, seems to happen when the outside air temp was around 100. Dealer was replacing 3 a week do to this module failure.

If you have a problem with your remote...Just for the heck of it try to reprograme it. It worked for me.....

Put the key in the ignition. Turn the key to on. Not start. Turn the dome light on and off three times and turn off the key. Has to be all done within 4-5 seconds. So be quick..... I am curious if this solves any of the problems.
