Yesterday, I could not get mine to lock. Would not Unlock either. Just would not respond at all until I cranked the truck and then turned it off again. Like everyone else, I have never had any key fob act like this. This is my first Dodge and there are several things that I am experiencing with this truck that I have never experienced with any other vehicle.

Default over time it gets better ??

I haven't posted to this thread in months, but I've remained subscribed in case the magic solution appears. Today I've realized that I haven't had this problem in weeks and that over time it has slowly gotten better.

When I first bought the truck in March of this year, the key fob problem was daily (unlock, and lock). A few months later it went to the occasional weekly annoyance. Now I can honestly say, it's been 8 weeks and I haven't had the issue.

Could it be the fob begins to wear in?
My thumb has simply gotten stronger over time?

I don't know the exact answer. But I thought I would submit this information, in case others that had this problem over 6 months might contribute their opinion on the "over time it get's better" theory...

I am using my second key fob and it seems to be working better. Might be the fob itself. Only time will tell.

I don't think it is the fobs. Yesterday I had both in my pocket and neither would lock or unlock the truck. I think something is wrong on the vehicle side of things. Is it possible that something computer related could could be going on while no power is on, like a self diagnostic check or something? After 10 seconds or so both fobs worked fine and worked repeatedly.

I wish this would get fixed. Both fobs do it which leads me to believe it is something with the truck itself....maybe someday this will be resolved.

Sometimes, it will even open the windows(as if you were holding the unlock button down). This is bad, because what if it is raining? What if I have something of value in the truck and it unlocks while I am away from the truck? I am rather upset about this and I have to drive 25 min. just to get to the dealer since Chrysler shut down my local dealer.

Is anyone else having a problem like this? THanks.

I was greeted with open windows, flashing lights and a soaked interior this week. Took it to the dealer ... of course they know nothing. They claim they can not even programmatically disable the stupid window opening "feature". I will be installing disable relays in the doors this weekend for the windows.

Default Dealer is going to install...

My dealer called chrysler and they decided they are going to try to replace the relay module. The dealer said it is just a try, but we will see. I will keep all updated.

My problem is definitely with the key fob itself. One works everytime and the other takes several pushes of the button to get the door to lock and unlock. Getting a new key fob tomorrow.

If we ALL call our dealers as well as Chrysler and contuiue to put pressure on them maybe they will kick it into high gear and get this thing resolved.

Everyone should call Chrysler at
