Would You Buy A Ram Next Time?
I probably would... it depends on what everyones offering in 2015 or whenever really..
i love my truck.. but the vibrations are starting to tick me off..
im at a red light.. look down at my water bottle and its shaking worse than if i had two 12s inside the truck...
and ive had 2 12s inside my truck before..

So far, I'd definitely buy one again. I traded in a Nissan Xterra that was feature packed for the Xterra line, but bare bones compared to any other vehicle. I bought it for the off-road performance and the overall utility. In the 9 years I owned the Nissan it saw a lot of use, but I took great care of it. The big drawbacks were it's rear seat room, or lack there of, rough ride, noise level at anything over 40 MPH, and horrible gas mileage. Everyone I work with loved the RAM, but their first comment was "but what about gas prices?" I actually get better mileage in the RAM than I ever did in the Nissan.
I looked really hard at the Chevy/GMC, but the butt ugly looks and cheap, cheap interior immediately took it off the list. And this is coming from a guy who before the Nissan bled GM blue, and who's family has been loyal to GM for three generations. The Ford was really in the running, but when I got to comparing gadgets on the trucks, the Dodge wiped the floor with Ford. Also, it's also nice to get a truck that it's all over the road. The Ford is awesome, but here in Texas you can't swing a dead cat without hitting an F-150 or F-250.

I won't buy anything dodge/chrysler/jeep but not because of quality issues or problems. Haven't had any problems yet and have owned dodge trucks for the last 40 years. I'm done with dodge because of the govt tit sucking they did and then selling out to the union and fiat. Won't buy chevy either for some of the same reasons but also because their quality sucked anyway, at least on our 98 Tahoe. Done nothing but replace parts on that Tahoe since the warranty ran out. Have never really like ford styling but my brother and others seem to think they are good trucks so when the time comes I will look pretty much at what's out there and pick from that. Jeff.
sure would. was a 3x Ford F150 owner for the past 5 years, ( looked at other brands due to way too many quality issues I kept having ) drove all 5 brands of the 1/2 tons before buying and like this Dodge as much as the first day I brought it home. Also, never received so many looks and compliments as I do with this truck..

so basically they did what gm did (sell hummer and saturn) but ahead of the curve... them not taking money had nothing to do with the quality of ford vehicles.... they just had more cash on hand then the other guys
Not owning trucks all my life I had no idea what to buy. I had a company provided Ford F150 loaded to the gills and really liked it.
When I started to shop trucks I test drove everything mentioned in this thread. For some reason I kept coming back to Dodge. Every time, I would end up on a Dodge lot.
So, I asked my wife to come with me on a Saturday and we both test drove 3 trucks. She said we did not need to test anymore, she liked the Dodge Ram the best. Ride and superior looks. It's true. Every where I go someone wants to see the inside. Never paid much attention, but there are sure alot of Dodge trucks on the road. That has to say something.
Ps.....No problems yet. Do not expect any either.

I always drove GM and Ford! Never liked the square shape off the dodge.
I run around 40,000 miles a yr, so i trade usally 4-5 yrs . I like every thing , but mostly the RIDE. The mpg is really close to my 06 chevy.
The interior [ no leather, wears out to fast!] is much better than GM or Ford.
Life time bumper to bumper warranty , 100.00 deduc. enough said
The Ram Box ... wow
