Wait a minute. If yours was built in march then it should've had the light anyway. It must've been turned off in the EVIC ooptions.

Not so, as I'd checked the EVIC settings before it went in, to see if I had the fuel saver light, so it has definately only appeared after the service.

Alright, so now we've busted the dual exhaust myth. There's certainly a flash that activates the light, its just a matter of ignorance and bs that determines if you get it.

Default single exhaust, no light

11/2008 HEMI 4x4 with EVIC and Single Exhaust. Updated today, no light, no option for it.

I got the flash last week and I see a huge difference. For the first time I can accelerate slowly and keep the MDS light on. I could never do this before. Also MDS never kicked in after 50mph now I could be crusing at 70 and maintain my speed with the MDS on.

The EVIC gave me a 18.9 mpg average when retuning from the dealer (reset it before I left the dealer), 22 mile drive, 70% highway and 30% city. That is an average I have never seen before.

At low speeds I have not notice any differences yet.

Had the light before the flash!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On Tuesday, went to my Dodge dealer to get the ABS update, ask them to do the 18-019-09, they said that update wasn't for my 09 Dodge QC Laramie, instead did the 18-19-06-91 update that is for my model. So the question is, does the Laramie require different updates? As all my update codes for my truck have 4 set of numbers compared to 3 given in this flash. Also no Fuel Saver light option listed in the EVIC after update.

Just got the truck back last night after being in the shop for 5 days and no Fuel Saver light. The service writer knows nothing of a flash or even that there was a fuel saver light on these trucks. It's good to know that our trucks are in "good" hands. Yeah, right.....

After the post came out I also checked with the service dept. and they had no idea, the checked the numbers and found it but said nothing was for my truck with the EZD codeBut he did stay in a holiday inn the night before.

Also when I went round and round about the tires with flat spots, the other service rep. said there was no TBS or RRT for it, well I called and gave her the news and told them that the days of keeping the owners in the dark is over with the power of forums and the internet, they seemed dumbfounded.
