when you were doing the door speakers, did you see if it looked like we would have to worry about a speakers tweeter protrusion? is there any other fitment issues other then the depth of approx. 3 1/4"?

my 09 ram sport came with the alpine 10 speaker system, I added the new pioneer avic-z120BT deck a few days ago. The front speakers keep turning off.... I thought maybe its a loose wire but it also does it when i'm parked... Its pretty random. Any ideas?

I don't think you can just put any aftermarket radio in, you have to have some type of convertor or whatever so that you are running same speed as the trucks canbus...or hell me here I don't know what it is but I just know you can't just plug any radio in.

I used a converter. Front speakers keep turning off.

Excellent. Planning on adding a subwoofer. WHere is the factory sub located?
Have the same stock setup with HU.
Really did not want to change the HU. But. I know I will regret later. Spend the extra slush on the lift kit with tires.

Did you get your speakers fixed yet? Which converter did you use?

Eternalodyssey: thanks for the right up and help. I installed a PAC for an amp onto my RES HU. It was easier than I though. Only difference I have is the 110 outlet on the bottom right (I read and found the screw there.) That thing just pops right off.

I am installing Alpine 6*9's in all the doors tomorrow and 4" Alpine in the dash.

Thanks,
