I knew no one would believe me but that is okay I know what I saw and what the car did. I will say the mustang was a stick and he lost ground on every shift, so maybe it was driver? I do not know but I do know what I saw and heard last night. Believe it or not it happened. Sorry for the dis-believer's but you where not there. Anyway I thought some of the people on here would like to here what happened. I am not going to go on and on because I know what happens on this Forum if you do.

its funny the only guy's saying hes full of **** own mustangs, ive beaten several gts and 5.0s they used to get ahead when i hit my 105 but with the diablo sport and quicker shifts they sit at my rear tire till they give up.

Also sorry to burst some bubbles on here but a 09 mustang GT's with an air intake and tuned arent any faster then an 09 hemi with the same done to it, Ive witnessed it on the track and on the street and you dont need 3:92's to do it years earlier everyone was after 3:55's and they work just fine.

A mustang can be "made" to go faster than any ram can be made to be, but stock mustangs with simple improvements arent anything special.

well lets see some vids to prove the ram is faster than the 09 mustang gt. My friend owns a 05 gt and I can not stay with him no matter what speed we start from. no way can a truck that runs low 6 seconds to 60 stay with a car that runs to 60 in the low 5's.

 

And were talking about a 4.7 ram right? My 07 never had a chance against a pony and yes, i've owned a couple stangs. I just don't buy it. I'm with the other guy, show me video.

 

Dreaming... A somewhat stock Hemi Ram will not hang with a 09 GT. It is a full second faster 0-60 than a "standard" Hemi Ram.

Want to know what a 4.7 can do.... Here you go, no arguing this. 7+ seconds. A 2WD will be slightly better but not over 1.5 seconds better.

Ford does not build a 4.7 mustang.

I do not now nor ever have owned a mustang. I also did not say he was full of anything, just that there was more to this than meets the eye. Mustangs are slow, 4.7 quad cabs are slower.

Which is why I no longer own a 4.7 quad cab.

Ok so an evo is faster than a mustang... of course an evo is also faster than a ram so that is not really that relevant... I mean I was in an airplane once that is faster than a mustang...
