4.7 Vs. Mustang GT, Mustang got beat!
The mustang was a '96-98 which would've had the weak early 4.6L
'94-95s have horizontal taillights and a 5.0L with ~220hp
'96-98s have Vertical taillights and a 4.6L with ~215hp as opposed to the 260 for the 99-04 and the 300 for the 05-09 base GTs
Not trying to take away from the win . . .

newer camrys run mid 14's stock. Don't think there's much of an aftermarket for them so that's probably all they run. Still pretty impressive for a 3.5 V6 family car.
Ok, so I did reply to this thread in a sarcastic manner earlier, but heres what happened to me last night. I pulled up next a 09 ram 1500, 4X4, with the big horn package and a hemi. I just have 1 2010 St 4X4 with the 4.7. We revved engines a tad and ran all out to the next light. I actually used the eco mode and shifted with the +/- buttons. I smoked him.
We chatted a brief minute at the next light and said I must of had a hemi and de--badged it. Ya, my steel wheels didn't clue him in to it being a basic truck? When I told him what I did he agreed, its the driver to a good extent. My apologies.

I'm guessing you have 17s and he had 20s too, right? That makes that gearing advantage even more pronounced. And they wheels themselves are over 10 pounds lighter each, and that's rotational weight.
The 4.7s are rated at 310 hp, so they aren't exactly slouches either....combine that with "anything can happen on the street"
