I prefer direct credit cards over PayPal. Too many risks of PayPal not watching out for your best interests, especially if tied to a bank account. It may have its uses, but I wouldn't use it for something that might involved future unwanted charges like the above 'auto-renewal'.

kevin google sirius promo codes. you can definately get it cheaper, and keep calling the 800 number, you may have to talk to several foreign countries to get them to reduce your subscription price, but it can be done. sat radio does not want to loose customes. just do some research.

Thanks man, Yea I'm gonna renew most likely, just right now I'm in the middle of clearing my current military installation, moving to another and getting married a month later, so I don't have the time to haggle with them. I'll get back to them in about 2 months and talk deal.

Actually better to use paypal for auto renewal stuff - then you can just shut it off yourself. The only way they can bill paypal on a recurring basis without your direct approval each time is with a subscription that you can disable in Paypal once it is set up. With a conventional CC they just make the charge and you can't do anything about it until after the fact.

This is some good info about how to pay for services, I'm just gonna mail them a check when it comes time. Its not worth 2 years from now when I'm gonna wonder why Serius is not harassing me around renewal time and find some outrageous charge on my CC.

I am coming up to the end of my free trial. I won't be renewing as I hardly use it. I have over 500 songs on my hard drive so far. Its great...my wife and I will buy a CD...make sure that both of us like it....I put it on my hard drive and the wife gets the CD for her vehicle!

Call Sirius and ask for the lifetime plan. They never offer it up front you have to ask. It's $399 plus fees, comes out to close to $500 but you can do payments and it's good for as long as Sirius is in business

It's plainly listed on their website when you renew. That is the package I got. You just have to make sure you understand what lifetime means - it means the lifetime of the particular sirus reciever that the plan is tied to.

I have the lifetime plan also on a aftermarket radio. I was lucky enough to get it when Sirius was possible going bankrupt so i got it at $299. They told me i am able to transfer it once for $75 to a different radio. I tried to do the lifetime plan on my wifes Journey and they told me that they couldnt on factory radios. I have another 8 months before my trial plan runs out so i will see if they let me transfer my lifetime to my factory radio.

Sounds like BS. Mine is a factory radio and there was no issue getting a lifetime plan on it. Just go to the website and look at the account for the Journey, see if the lifetime is available under renewal options.
