Sirius Sat price good or not??
I got the renewal price in the mail yesterday, 1 year at $142.45(1 month free) or 2 years at $245(5 months free) the 2 years works out to about $10 a month. Should I go for this or wait until Sirius calls and offers a better price? My subscription is up June 2.
Just be aware that the price on that sheet doesn't include a whole bunch of "fees" that increase the price to around $175 for 1 year. (look at the prices on the bottom 3rd of the sheet on the piece you send in)
Just wait a month or two after it expires and they'll call you with a better deal - you can get anywhere from $20 - 40 for the first 6 months, and then they bill you at the regular rate. Just make sure to cancel, wait a month, and do it again.
It can be a pain, but if you're cheap, it's worth it.

I have three different units one in the Jeep one in my truck and one on the boat. I pay $95 a year with all fees included. I negotiated them to that and now that is what I pay every year. Alway's renew on time.
You know, I think I'll wait until a week before it expires and use that as a bargaining chip, if they won't do $95 a year(fees incl) I'll let it expire and see what happens.Worse comes to worse I'll pay a little more.
Got the lifetime subscription (lifetime of the stereo that is in the truck as long as I own it)
$492 after they added all the fees and taxes. Figure that breaks down to $164 if I only kept it 3 years and $123 if I keep it 4 years.
