Looks good ohioram. This it something I will probably do. I don't like a lot of chrome on my vehicle. Thats why I got the plastic bumpers on my ram.

Not too bad...I pryed mine off. It has tabs on all 4 sides that have ridges in them....Find them and then push them towards the middle while pulling up. There's 2 tabs on the front and sides and the back has 3 tabs.

That looks awesome. Looks like a $3.77 fix.

This ring has been a problem for my passenger not me...lol Can't open the sunroof at all with my wife in the car. The sun comes right down on the chrome ring; bounces right into her face. So, what I was thinking; was to wrap the ring in leather. I was going to order another ring...(Practice)...and try to match the dark brown pleather from the dash. I might have to shave the ring down alittle to make it fit right, But I think it'll look pretty good.

This problem is caused by lack of field testing by the manufacturer. It looks great inside the studio and outside on those gray Michigan winter days.

I stopped by Advanced Auto parts on my way home today and bought some 180 grain sand paper and some OD Green Flat Paint. I think if the ring goes well I will paint the section on the dash that is grey next. Once I get the ring painted I will post some pictures. If I do the Dash thing I will definetley post some pictures.

I have the same issue. I wonder if putting the "brow" AKA window tint strip at the top of the windshield will help. Anyone???

Definitely have the same issue, usually from around 1100 - 1pm ish. Glares off of both sides into the passenger's face and driver's. I'm either going to paint every chrome interior part black like you did with the krylon, but to everything, or see if a custom shop can do it the same color blue as my paint outside...I think it'd make a decent accent look inside.

I will let you know tomorrow. I am bringing the truck in for the Windshield tint (sun visor)and the front windows tomorrow and noon. I personally do not think it will help I was going to tint the windows either way. The guy I use cut's out the section for the Ram logo and I really like the look. I had this done on my last truck as well. I did not have the console in the last truck so I will have to wait and see how this one turns out.
