Nice job! How did you remove things and what type of prep was there?

There is a thread on here about dash removal. I followed it and the dash came right apart. I used 180 grain sand paper and sanded the entire surface to include the chrome ring. Then I taped everything off and painted it. I used two coats and it took about 1.5 days to get it to dry. Once together I was afraid it was going to chip or peel off. I have two kids and they have climbed all over it and so far the only ding I have is where I nailed it with my keys on accident. Other then that it has held up real well.
