Yep, it blinds me too. Will probably paint it. On a side note, the sunvisors have to be the worst design I've ever seen. Put them down to block the sun and it shines around the top and side.

The chrome trim ring blinded me on a test drive. It was an influential reason I decided to get the bench seat in my Laramie. There was only one on the lot and about 10 with the console. I'm happy with my choice though. Its nice having seating for 6 comfortably without having a minivan.

Well I got the tint put on yesterday and today was nice and sunny. The tint helped but the problem is still there. Basically from what I can tell once the sun is high enough in the sky it comes in no matter what. The glare is defenetley better but still there. I would not go out and tint your windows and expect the glare to be gone. I was already planning on putting the tint on so it was a bonus for me to get some of the glare gone.

I like my own cockpit, hate someone leaning on me or a long trip falling asleep right next to me while I drive....thats just cold. Why do you look down there so much? Maybe cuz I keep my right hand at 2 oclock all the time unless turning so my arm blocks it. I have spinner **** to steer with.

I just pried mine off and pushed the tabs in with a credit card. Came off no problem but you need to keep going around and prying gently so not to break it. Scuffed it good with 180 grit sandpaper then spray painted it with flat black ( 2 coats ) and it is back on.

I mentioned this when I first got the truck, wife told me to "man up". She got hit by the reflection today, will be painting it tomorrow.

I have heavy tint but if Im driving into the sun I get hit, even when I leave my hand on the shifter.
