7.5 mpg, all I can expect??
At the rate my truck is loosing efficiency I'll be at 7mpg by next year lol. When I got the truck it was 15 mpg combined new, then it jumped to 17-18 when it got broke in, and at 35k miles it dropped back to 15mpg. Its been dropping ever since, I'm at 45k miles now and at 13mpg. I didn't get this thing for gas mileage but its pretty dissapointing.
My truck is a Quad cab, 5.7, with 3.55 gears. When I first got the truck I was pretty heavy on the pedal (loved the power & pull of the Hemi!!) but soon learned I had to change my way of driving because I couldn't drive past gas stations!!! I now drive like a little o'l lady, I barely touch the gas from a standing stop.
I calculated the mileage myself & am getting just over 8 mpg.
I bought the truck used with 12,000 kilometers from a used car dealer....

Yeah, I dunno where they pulled that window sticker out of, but the best MPG configuration of any 2010 is a base, regular cab ST V6 4x2 which is rated for 20/14.
But regardless, 7.5 mpg is horrid and would tell me either A) your city driving is about all stop and go, B) your driving habits are terrible, or C) there is an issue with your truck.
I have my NON MDS Hemi 4x4 weighing almost 7000 lbs., am rolling on 35" tires and can at least average 10 mpg in the middle of Orlando. 15/12 is about the norm for me.

I live in Gibsonton which isn't far away from Orlando. You know of any good offroading trails in the Tampa area?
The original poster is in Canada, where they use the Imperial gallon. 14/20 US is 17/25 Canadian.
D-man -- this might just be a calculation/conversion issue. How many km's did you go before you filled up, and how many litres did you take to fill it? Did you start with a tank that had been filled, or one that was simply 'full' on the gauge? Also, do you have stock wheels and tires?
I'm in Tennessee and I usually go 500km of city driving before filling up with with 75 litres.
Please post your km's and number of litres so we can look at the math.
I had 260 kilometers=160 miles when I filled up, it took 85 liters at what I believe the conversion from liters to Canadian gallons would be 4.56 liters to one Canadian gallon which = 18.6 Canadian gallons. 160 miles divided by 18.6 gallons = 8.6 mpcanadiang. Did I compute this correctly?
My tires are a half inch taller than the stock ones (285/60/20). They stand at "33 1/2 high compared to "33 stock. That would knock the computer out a bit but shouldn't kill my mileage by that much should it? My old 1995 ram had the same height of tire & still had better mileage than this truck.

Be forewarned, I've heard you don't wanna go up there alone as they've had instances of people getting robbed back way back in there at gunpoint of everything from their wallet to their vehicle. Dunno how true the stories are, but the one time I went up there, I carried. Had no problems other than a few packs of guys drinking while riding around up there and being a LOT loud and arrogant.
Ocala National Forest has hundreds of miles of ORV trails. I've been there a couple of times with both my truck and ATV. Only bad thing there is about 75% of the trails are CLOSED due to vandalism and people NOT FOLLOWING RULES. But a few are still open. Was at a picnic/BBQ and off-road run hosted by another Ram forum three or four years ago. Was a very nice GTG.
I mostly take my truck off-road in south Georgia where I lived from '91 till '06 until my parents both became ill. Bunch of places I can go up thataway both public and private. I don't "off-road" as it were anymore, but I'm off-road hunting/fishing/camping and working around our farm property a good bit.
BACK TO THE TOPIC:
To give you a general idea, I got about 9 mpgs in combo driving with my '98 second gen 5.9 RCSB 4x4 1500, lifted on 35s, maybe could muster 12 on a trip if I didn't go much over 65 mph. I am about 25% better than that with my non-MDS QCSB 4x4 Hemi on 35s...
