7.5 mpg, all I can expect??
I drive mostly in the city and on highway every once in a while. I was getting close to 14 on my evic. Once it got to be winter here, i used the remote start alot and it dropped to 12.

It sounds funny, but have a look at the airbox to make sure it is clean, breathing freely, and not filled with dog food or acorns. I've had mice make a nest in the airbox of two of my motorcycles before. My mileage went from 55 mpg to 35 mpg.
Airbox in my wifes Kia got filled with birdseed one time. But it ran like crap
Poor driving habits, I think not! When I first got the truck I will admit I did not have the best driving habits being a new truck & all,( gotta admire the Hemi power) but in the last few months I have done everything short of getting out of the truck & push starting it from the stop lights!!
Oh well, guess I best just suck it up because I can't afford another new truck. Looks like I will be snowmobiling to work lots this winter!!! lol

Yeah, I wasn't accusing you of the poorest driving habits known to man, I was just saying that's what it would take to get down to 7.5 mpgs if there wasn't something going on with the truck. But I gotta kinda think that anything that bad would pop a CEL...
Ok, filled my truck up once again! It took 81 liters & logged 242 kilometers on the odometer. If my calculations are correct, I am getting 8.4 miles per canadian gallon, & for my American friends out there, that computes to a staggering 7 miles per US gallon!!!!!!!! I hope I am calcuating wrong, if not, I can't afford to run this pig of a truck, this is pathetic!!!

Since we've probabally exhausted the usefull suggestions by now, here are some others
1) Parking brake on?
2) All your miles are done in Reverse
3) You left out the part about leaving the truck running 24/7 so the inside is always toasty
4) Bed of truck was filled with Concrete for that smooth look
5) You have 18" of lift and 40" tires with a paint job so ugly that it causes drag
6) You filled your tires with water for extra traction
7) You weigh 600lbs and only use the truck to haul 4 buddies who you describe as "fat"
8) Saw a commercial where the guy was dragging a ships anchor and thought it looked like a cool accessory
Sorry - kind of bored at the moment. I'd take it back to the dealer - again and again

Some good ones but I still would have to say no to all eight however!
