It looks like your window sticker was on the wrong truck. Chrysler says that you have the basic split bench seat in the front. The 115v outlet is part of the "Premium cloth seats" which include pwr driver seat, fold flat floors, 60/40 rear seat and centre frt seat under cushion storage.

Obviously there is a discrepancy between his actual build sheet and the sticker that was placed on the truck.
Sticker wrong or not, he's entitled to ALL the equipment represented IN WRITING on his sticker. Bring truck & window sticker back to dealer and politely demand EVERY ITEM that is on the sticker. I would...

 

No LEGALLY he is entitled to everything on the actual build sheet, and at most an apology for the incorrect window sticker...

The dealer should make things right and do everything they can to help you out, but in the end you may only end up with a new window sticker

Did you even look at the sticker when you purchased the truck? I know you can get caught up in the moment, but damn man some of the stuff on your sticker sounded kindof hard to miss... even as small as the little plug outlet

over on the right i didnt ask for this option it just came havent found a use for it yet either also have the 40/20/40 split in the front and 60/40 in the rear and i forget who said it but yes it is the 26T order package in the 1500 as well

 

I'm so glad you chimedinwith your $.02 worth of nothing. This "Silly post" Is about my truck being built improperly. I doubt you read all of the posts made here, probably too busy trying to find a way to ensure that others peoples problems seem measly and petty in your perfect world. Hammer: I talked to the dealer today. We took my truck to the service department, and verified that all of the things on my sticker should be in fact on my truck. They are going to call the District Manager of the Warren Truck Plant (where the truck was built) and try to figure something out. He states that they will probably buy the truck back, and try and sell me another... Unfortunately this week all (or most) of the plant workers are off of work, so he has to wait until Monday before I will hear anything.

I believe that he would be entitled to restitution under the Monroney Act. The build sheet has no bearing as it is not provided nor are it's contents disclosed to the customer at the time of purchase.

The manufacturer and/or dealer can be fined up to $10,000 if there is NO window sticker on the car OR if there is incorrect information on this sticker and if pre-knowledge of incorrect information can be proven, you also have a criminal case of theft by deception. Also, as per the Monroney Act, Caveat Emptor would have absolutely no bearing.

I would imagine that the dealer is offering to buy it back and not just put the items in because by law, the sale was not legal...



And Moose, I'd make them give me one hell of a deal on a new truck if I were you...
