HELP, rams gone crazy, lights, gauges, wipers everything!
Hey, I'm new here, cut me a little slack if this has been covered. I was driving my truck around town, shut it off at the store, got back in and started it, it turned on and drives fine but all the lights in the instrument panel are on. The air bag, ABS, check engine, gas light, battery, well all that can light up at once are on. The windshield wipers are running with the switch in the off possition, windows won't roll down, no radio. The only thing that works is the heater. I checked all the fuses, looked under the dash for anything loose or unplugged, and I unhooked the battery for a couple minutes. Just looking for any suggestions on how to cure this.
Welcome to the forum!
Dealer visit bud! Sounds like a bad TIPM... I just had electrical issues with my truck which started yesterday. Dropped it off today and I am currently in a loaner..They pulled a bunch of codes as of today before I left the dealer and they are still diagnosing it. Are you running HID's??
Check out my thread I posted. I have different issues but still, nothing normal!

The first thing I would do is pull the fuse on the wipers, they would drive me nuts! Mickey is right about the TIPM but the only thing you can try at this time is to disconnect the battery and reseat the TIPM connectors and cross your fingers.
I wanted to but I couldn't due to serious time crunch and getting out of work late. Trust me I was pissed I didn't...I got out of work late, then I have work tomorrow so I needed a loaner, then I leave next week for work and hopefully it gets fixed by tomorrow... The service writer showed me the codes they pulled and said it's good I brought it in b/c I had a HIGH chance of the truck shutting down and not starting..and I drive a good distance to work everyday.
Thanks, for the input guys. I didn't think about pulling the fuse for the wipers, they are driving me crazy. I'll leave the battery unhooked tonight, put it back in the morning. Probably something $$$$
Pedro it'll also drive you nuts at 530am driving to work when it's raining out w/ no wipers. I did that the other day and damn it was bad, I even put rainX on..but yes try the battery first, i should of added that, then dealer visit

is your truck out of warranty? if so I've read the TIPM's go for 800(ish)...
I just bought it used, I could take it back on the 30 day warranty, or see if they will fix it for free. It looks brand new, and drove brand new but it has 70,000 paid $22000 2010 trx flame red loaded up. I'll have to talk to the dealer at Karl Malone and see what they say.
