Oh thats no problem, I believe even Dodge says "Dual Exhaust". I think thats mis-leading.

 

Does anyone know where i can find a diagram or parts list for the factory duals? I'm buying someones take off and want to be sure i have everything in the box... Thanks for your time

 

As stated by others, Nate being one, are you sure its true duals?? My 2012 Longhorn has "Stock duals" but in reality it nothing more then dual tail pipes coming out of a single muffler. Most of the back pressure is in the muffler not the tail pipe. I supose twin tail pipes might decrease the back pressure a drop. Differant sound differant models=differant muffler. I wouldn't pay lots for twin tail pipes, but thats me. Just my 2 cents worth

 

I'd guess it would be the opposite, considering how straight the single exhaust system is and how many 90's are in the "factory dual" by the time the exhaust actually gets out.

 

Some early '09 models came with the aggressive (Sport?) muffler. I remember an RRT about replacing the mufflers on the non sport models with a quieter one. I know my '09 Big Horn is just as loud if not louder than any sport I have heard especially the newer ones.

 

Yeah, there definately are some loud ones out there. They sound good, on their trucks, for a few mins. I
But i really wouldn't like that loud noise on mine, to everyone their own. My 12 Longhorn has a nice tone to it, I like it the way it is.

 

I don't want to hear my exhaust. I want a quiet ride.
