I already had my rear differential replace 1-2 years ago because it was making a noise and they said it wasn't adjusted right from the factory.

Should I still bother with this recall?

If you get a recall notice you need to bring it in when the parts are available.

The dates of build on the Dakota's are wrong. It's states 09-11 with a build date starting in February of 2007. This is a typo and should state 2008. This is being corrected on the official documents.

Could this be why my 2011 rear end kinda sounds weird...or I think it is the rear end. at 70 mph and slow down I get a high frequency growl and it doesn't sound like tires...maybe the sound of wheel bearing going out???, but only 10k on the odo.

It could be but no way to tell for sure without having it checked out. If you even think this could be the issue you are experiencing I would suggest a appointment with the dealer as soon as possible.

I am having issues with my 2007 Ram 2500 rear differential. The Race Bearing went bad and now my mechanic says to replace the entire differential ($2,000 later). What can I do about this? My truck only has 74,000 miles on it! I've only towed a 5th wheel trailer about 15,000 at the most! Why did it go bad! Will Dodge do anything to fix it?
