Default Recall Went Great

I got the recall notice after everything had already gone out, and i had to pay out of pocket to fix my truck. After receiving the recall notice i followed the instructions and sent in my receipts along with pictures and a hand written letter. About a 10 days later i got a phone call from Chrysler saying that everything looks good and i would be getting a check in the mail within the next two weeks. Sure enough i got the check exactly 14 days later.

To those worried about driving their trucks, you only need to worry if you hear a whining noise from you rear end. I ignored the noise my rear end was making, and it took a couple of weeks for it to break down.

I'm still confused on how some people are getting these recalls done and others are still waiting months later. I have one of the first '09s built and I still don';t have the recall done, yet others with '10s are getting them done?
I thought this all started with the '09s?

There are two different recalls for the axle. They affect different trucks and have different parts kits. One has a parts kit - that's the one people are getting fixed now. The other (N08) does not have parts available yet.
