Grinding noise in my 1500 laramie

Default Grinding noise in my 1500 laramie

hi guys
i have an issue in my 2011 ram 1500 Laramie
Eveytime my tires spin I get this grinding noise coming from somewhere in the drivetrain even when the esp and traction is off
noise come out on sand , mud and soft grounds
this video show directly what i mean


i took the truck to the dealer but he said its normal
and i dont think its normal to hear that terrible noise in a new truck
any one know whats cussing this noise and how i can get rid of it ??

I bet your truck has the AUTO 4x4 option (it should say AUTO on the 4x4 selector ****)
It sounds like the clutch disc`s are slipping.

yes i have the auto option in the 4x4 ****
what thats mean ?

Sorry to hear about your current concerns. Were you with the dealer when they were attempting to duplicate the noise?

If you are concerned with the current diagnosis I would recommend seeing if you can compare the noise you are hearing to a similar vehicle or getting a second opinion from an alternate Dodge dealer.

Please let me know if you have any questions or are seeking additional assistance.

acutely im not in US i live in Dubai in the middle east and we only have one dealer here
i wasn't with them when they checked the truck and cant find a similar here truck to compare
the situation is so bad here

Yep! That's it. That one and an earlier post by the same guy detailing the problem and all the suggestions by people. Unfortunately this guy didn't get a fix, but perhaps the OP of this thread can find something useful there.
