You should really use a 1/0 kit.

Dont forget you still need 2 sets of rca's.

Yeah defiantly use a 1/0 kit like Habeba said. Each 750 has a fuse rating of 80A, so 160A total, you should go at least 10 over that for an inline fuse so now were to 170A. Basically impossible to find a 170A so you'll be up toa morecommon 200A fuse now. 4 gauge amp kits should have a max fuse of about 125A. So you really NEED a 1/0 kit which is capable of about 250A.

Oh and you got the right subs with the dual 4's. Good Job I was worried for a minute. Still though, why not just one 1500?

Looks like I will be going with the kit that habeba86 posted because both of you are recomending it! Thanks rtkota5point9 for explaining the whole fuse rating of the amps! Now the amps won't blow up!!! haha, j/k....

The zx1500.1 puts out 750 watts with 4ohms, and 1500 watts with 2ohms
This is where I got that info

I was told by a bunch of other people to get the dual 4's. I don't really know what te whole "ohm" thing means, but since I was told by many many people to get the 4's instead of the 2's...... I went with the 4's....I ain't no dumby!! Haha

The ohm rating means nothig what so ever as far as performance of the sub. It's simply for matching to the right amplifier. The final load at the amp is the only thng that counts. All you had to do is get dual 2-ohm subs and the 1500.1 and you would have had the 1500 @ 2-ohms. Nothing makes the 4-ohm subs any better than the 2-ohm.Or vice versa. It's simply a configuration used in matching to the amp. Whoever told you that is filling you with BS.

Now you're gonna have to tune 2 amps, run distribution blocks for power, use extra wiring, take up more room. And you gained squat. Maybe the fact that 2 amps look a little cooler than 1, but that's about it. Sorry. [:'(]

Exactly.......simple is always better. You wont have any problems with your setup, its jst more work and tuning. But you will love it when you get it all done im sure!

The only reason I said good job on getting the 4-ohm subs in my earlier post is because those are the right subs for the 750. The 2-ohm ones wouldnt have worked. Well they would have, but you would have had to run both subs on one amp, and get half the power to each, or run one of them at 4-ohm and still got half the power. Witht he dual 4's you will be able to run each sub on each amp at 2ohms. Which is where the amp is rated at the most power safely.

Sorry if I confused you into thinking the 4ohms are a better sub. But yeah, what you have will work just the same. Just more work for the same result. Oh well.

Getting the right info from a few people, isa lotbetter than the wrong info from many.
