Kicker 750.1
Alot of ppl ground at the seat belt bolt... Ive seen ppl try to say it isnt a good ground......I dont see a problem with it. As long as its a rust free surface with no paint...it should be fine.
Yes I do realize that I did just ask a pretty dumb question [sm=alcoholic.gif] but I want to make sure I do everything PERFECT! I don't want to blow anything up!!!

I am basically just waiting until the carpet comes in for the amp rack!!! It's a waiting game now...hahaTomorrow I pick up the 10 gauge speaker wire from the post office! The only problem is, my truck is at the storage unit with the jet skis, and I will pick it up Thursday. So basically the install won't really happen until Thursday, and that weekend...

Thanks again for all of your help! Without you guys answering all of my dumb *** questions.... I probably would never get the system installed!!! [sm=icon_cheers.gif]
good luck with it, Hopefully it all goes without a snag... But most good installs have a few so dont be dissapointed if you do run into problems... Just be patient... I remember putting my first system in my truck... Ahhh those old Pioneer Premier subs were mint! lol but yea i didnt take the time and never secured my box or amps so when i would take a turn quick my subs would slide around behind my seat and take the Amp with them too!!! LOL. Come a long way since then... thank god lol

That's funny how you brought up the story about not mounting the sub box down, becuase my friend and I were just talking about that! In his truck he put just a universal fit truck box in there and didn't bolt it down so every time he would slam on the brakes it would hit your "funny bone!" Then when he would turn it would smash into the side of his cab.... it dented and scratched the side of his cab soooo bad! [sm=lol.gif]
Oh I know.... I forgot to ask you guys just one more question (I promise this is the last one......NOT!
)....
I am planning on changing the door speakers and rear speakers (probably with 2 sets of the kicker SS65.2) and run them off of a Kicker ZX650.4.... My question is, what gauge speaker wire do you guys think I should use? I am only worried about this because I have heard people say that speaker wire is a big factor in how the speakers sound, is that true?
I probably won't get them changed out for a few more months though
beacuse the money situation is looking kind of bad.... haha.... but what can you do?!
